Yes... most photographers like me, connect with models via their websites.

The fact is 90% of the women I work with are not professional models - they've have never modelled before! This works best for me... the honesty, naivity, naturalness.

Some professional & semi-professional models can fall into stereotypical & poses, though the good professional models go beynd this. How can we do new images with old attitudes & set poses?

Some women say to me... "but the women you work with are so beautiful, i'm not that beautiful " well indeed, the are beautiful. Beautiful people, beautiful spirits... but they are mostly the women we meet everyday, normal women... not physically perfect, not 100% happy with themselves... just normal women. You know these photographs are about real women.

Many of the models I work with find out about my photographs and approach me via this website.

I work on a Time-For-Prints (TFP) basis. That means models don't receive money, but get contact sheets & prints.. and of course my thanks & goodwill (well, how could I do these photos without the models?!)... Why? I'm a creative photographer.. not a commercial photographer, I don't have mega bucks to pay models. Secondly: Its important for me to work with models who not just to doing photos to make money... but are in it for the right reasons: to create, explore, be involved in making great images!
